Bio I am a Japanese-English interpreter with over 13 years of professional experience across manufacturing, corporate, and healthcare settings in both Japan and the United States. I began my career in Japan, supporting executive communication, technical discussions, and cross-cultural operations, while also developing strong administrative and coordination skills through roles requiring scheduling, prioritization, and problem-solving. In addition to my professional interpreting work, I frequently assisted international colleagues by accompanying them to medical appointments, helping bridge language and cultural gaps in healthcare settings. These experiences deepened my understanding of the challenges patients face and strengthened my commitment to effective, human-centered communication. I later worked as a medical interpreter at a U.S. military hospital in Japan, where I witnessed firsthand the critical impact of language barriers on patient care. This experience led me to further develop my expertise in healthcare, and I am now a Certified Healthcare Interpreter (CCHI) and a State Registered Nurse Aide (CNA/SRNA). Currently based in Kentucky, I provide interpretation services while preparing to enter a nursing program.
